Hi yoga people.

I have an old hip, ankle and big toe injury. Im hypermobile and I seem to have flexibility in those joints in some cases and in others not so much. I can do a pigeon pose, (but I feel that it is wrong) yet when I'm sitting I cannot do a forward fold nor can I cross my legs in a seated position. I'm just not sure if it's worth me working on these joints. I have been told to just focus on strength.

I love strength, running and bouldering. But I work hospitality so am on my feet all day, and I want to stay active well into my older years ( I'm 41)

Im just unsure if it is worth the focus or not on breaking down scar tissue. But surely mobility through yoga should be included in my strength training?

Thanks!
