I need some help on this fic
I have a story where a canon character from the main Harry Potter series falls in love with and later marries a Muggle woman. The Muggle woman has an eleven-year-old niece who is about to start her first year at Hogwarts. The Muggle woman knows her niece is a witch, her wizard husband knows, her older sister knows, and her older sister's ex-husband knows, but would her mother know? I understand that, with the Statute of Secrecy, only spouses can know about the wizarding world or that their spouse is a witch or wizard. Would my OFC's mother know her daughter is marrying a wizard and that her granddaughter (my OFC's niece) is a Muggle-born witch? I feel like I'm making it more complicated than it should be. Any ideas? Because the mother is the only one who doesn't know about all of this.😅
