Childrens book about kid who knew things...
When I was 8 we were read the book by our teacher, it was a tall hardback that was maybe mostly green. I think it had a busy cover. It was read everyday for a couple of weeks. This was in England in the 1980's.
I remember it was about a boy.
When he is very young he is playing when he 'hears his dad driving home' he runs to his mama and says "daddy's home" she says its not time for him to be home, its too early.
A couple of minutes later, dad turns up, can't remember why he is early.
I think they have a really long drive and he hears the car before the dog normally does.
I have a feeling it is set in India, I think because of his talents he starts to spend time with a shamen.
There is a part where he is on a aeroplane and he knows it is going to be hijacked. I think he helps stop it.
That's all I can remember, I hope somebody recognises it 🙏
