OK Legislators Just Took Medical Decisions from Doctors
OU Health sent out this email to providers tonight.
OK Legislature has decided they know better than medical professionals. They're now dictating what care doctors can provide, and made it illegal for doctors to administer care they determine is medically appropriate for their patients.
Even if you don’t support trans rights, you can still recognize legislators are not doctors. There is no reason they should be overriding physician judgment and directly dictating medical care.
