Hi! I'm a casual/hobbyist photographer. I get quite busy so there's a month more or less where I don't use my camera. I'm concerned about lens fungus but I see people online state that it's unnecessary but maybe (or maybe not, I'm just speculating) they live in less humid country. I've honestly just put silica gel in my camera bag.

Do any of u all use or recommend a dry box or is it not necessary?

Just a quick question before I decide on a purchase.

During conventions and when having my flash off my camera, should I have it hand held or on a tripod?

I don't have a tripod at the moment and I'm deciding if I truly need one or not.
