Samsung-no voices on anything but standard mode
I’ve had this same setup for a few years now and just in the past week or so I’ve noticed on some things I try to watch I lose all vocals on any mode aside from standard. I’ve always used adaptive mode, but now on certain things it’ll only play the voices on standard. Standard sounds like garbage and has zero bass or depth…adaptive sounds a lot better but I don’t know what’s causing this.
I’ve rebooted everything, and firmware updates are set to auto update. I turned off “5.1” on YouTube tv and it fixed it but then of course I lose any surround I might have had with YouTube tv. It happed on hbo max on an episode of the Pitt but only on that episode lol
It’s a q990 with an lg tv and Apple TV 4K…again, nothing has changed with any of this aside from losing vocals in adaptive mode
