Department of Rehabilitation (for school)

Hello,
I recently send in my forms to the department of rehabilitation to try and get help with my school. I heard some people were able to get financial help through the department and was wondering how long that takes and what quality’s me to get it. I am based in CA near LA if that helps. They gave me an email to send my application into would it also be faster if I go in person? Is there certain locations that are better than others?

If anyone has any tips or insight I would appreciate it. Thank you!

Hello,
I keep trying to use builder gel and regular gel manicures, however it keeps lifting at the free edge.

I always ensure that I lightly buff it. I use acetone, nail, dehydrator, and nail primer. I use the brand gelish. I always ensure that my cuticles are pushed back as well as ensuring that I’m painting further away from my skin. I also wrap the free edge however my nails keep on peeling up no matter what I do.

I also use ASP as my builder gel. As I initially thought gelish, was the problem.

If anyone has any tips, please let me know. Thank you!!

Edit: Most people are recommending to get a better lamp I am hoping to pay around $100 for one but willing to go up to $200 if need be. If you have any recommendations I would love to hear them!!

Hello all,
I have NF1. I have some issues centered around NF like optic pathway glioma that have left me really sensitive to white light causing severe headaches. I get lots of chronic pain like pins and needles, my muscles tense up for days on end leading me to limp, I also get muscle weakness**. I saw that there is DOR program for helping students with disabilities pay for college as well as help them get accommodations. I was wondering if anyone here is on disability or has a disability service of any kind. I am also not sure what to ask my doctor for in a note.**

I would appreciate any tips or experiences.

Edit: California. I’ve been looking into the DOR school program.
