2022 CT4 V Blackwing

I posted 6 months ago about a high mileage ct4 v blackwing that I was looking at but ended up passing for a variety of reasons at the time.

I've been regretting it daily.

I am once again looking at one and have it reserved at carmax and am wondering if anyone knows the history? Lucky shot last time someone here helped me locate the actual previous owner.

CT4 V Blackwing - I'm getting this moved to the carmax near me and then test driving it.

Other than locating the previous history - anything I should look out at with this mileage/car?

(Also if anyone is selling theirs within the 45-50k price range DM me).

Had an absolute blast with it the past 3 years and still love it. However sold it today and am hunting for the next thing.

For a variety of reasons I need an Automatic car so that was the main catalyst but I'd also like something with a little bit nicer interior overall. Mine was a Core with all the packages.

Still want the great handling (or as close to it as I can get) but with a little bit of a nicer interior. Don't want the auto GR so unfortunately I'm moving on....

I'm trying to stay under $50k, can do used or new.

Want an RS3 but have Golf R money so Golf R feels like the lead - Anyone else transition from your GR to something else and have been satisfied? Anyone transitioned and feel tons of regret and keep coming back to this reddit reminiscing on the best time of your life?

Any other suggestions?

EDIT: Thanks everyone for the feedback so far.

Current rankings after the discussion below are:

  1. CT4 V Blackwing (if i can find a good used option)
  2. Golf R (new-ish)
  3. Find more money and get the RS3

Still need to test drive just in case:

  1. Audi S3 (slightly used)
  2. M340i (used)
