I'm watching the Pinky and Angela argument from the most recent episode and heard Pinky make a menopause dig at Angela which I assume was an attempt at age shaming. It's weird to hear especially since there's only a six year age difference between them. I don't like when the housewives age shame but I thought more about it and realized that ironically a lot of the age shaming comes from a housewife shaming someone not much older than them. Brandi made age shaming comments to Kyle who's only four years older than her. Same with Gizelle and Karen despite only a seven year difference. It makes the age shaming even sillier when you realize there's not much of a difference in age between these ladies.

I'm pretty conflicted on how I feel about Rulla. Typically when we see a housewife in her situation who stays with her husband, I just say she probably stays because of the money. But since Rulla seems to have her own established, well paid job, it almost makes me even more sympathetic and feel more bad for her for staying. In past episodes I also sympathized with her because I don't think Jo Ellen was coming to her with good intentions and was gossiping about Rulla's marriage. But after yesterday's episode, every interaction between Rulla and Jo Ellen seemed to show Jo Ellen being must gentler and kinder to her and Rulla responding the same way as she did even before. At the event at the end of the episode when Jo Ellen was telling Rulla about the mistress posting, Brian tried to blame Jo Elllen for talking about it and I wish Rulla had said something there to defend Jo Ellen or something. Oh and in the after show Rulla said Brian does look like he goes to the gym and implied Jo Ellen was jealous because her husband doesn't look like he does which was an, uh, interesting take on Rulla's part.
