What Are The Best Bakeries in Oslo?

I pulled together a list of bakeries (mostly focusing on sweet bakes) in Oslo, but if you could only try 3 (to 5), what are your must-tries and what item/s from them? Anywhere great that I've missed off the research list?

  • Åpent Bakeri (a chain - serves pastries and vaffels)
  • Lutlaget L/L (A collaboration between Lofthus Samvirkelag and Åpent Bakeri - bakery, brasserie, and wine bar)
  • Baker Hansen (recommended for cinnamon/cardamom buns)
  • Håndbakt (plant-based micro-bakery known for cardamom/cinnamon buns)
  • Farine (Sourdough bakery recommended for its cardamom bun)
  • Daegens (handmade sourdough buns - cinnamon/cardamom- handmade by one man)
  • Kaffebrenneriet (Apparently good cardamom buns. Pistachio bun looks great)
  • W.B. Samson (Famous Norwegian bakery for Kanelbolle)
  • Mendels (Parisian-style patisserie with apparently great cinnamon buns)
  • Aanerud bakeri (traditional Nor. bakes)
  • Godt Brød (an organic bakery chain)
  • Babbo collective (brunch, sourdough, pasta, and pizza)
  • Bollebar (a rotating menu of boller)
  • Talormade (donuts)
  • Kuro (Japanese-Scandinavian, apparently known for its skolebrod)
  • Daglig Brød (loaded cinnamon rolls)
  • Bakeri de Jean (unassumin exterior, but yummy looking bakes. French pastry style)
  • Lille Betong (tall, thin buns & viral skoleboller)
  • Erktunet gardsbakeri (farm-to-table bakes with sourdough and Norwegian flour)
  • Hernandez (Basque cheesecakes)
  • Mimi's Scones (...interesting scones 😛)
  • Fåbro gård (very highly rated - but furthest away from Sentrum)
  • KLINK (bar and restaurant, but serves cream-filled bolle)
  • Mjøl Bakeri/ Kveitemjøl (sister bakeries known for cube croissants and sourdough bakes)

And, a little different, but worth mentioning:

  • Silin Bakeri (cheap lahmacun/manakish)
  • Backstube (Cheap European bakery with imported dough, but cheap sweet & savory. The crumble cake looks good)
  • Ille brød (very highly regarded for its sourdough loaves)

Edit to add: I haven't been to ANY of these bakeries. Everything is based on online research for upcoming trips. Yes, there is a mixture of chains and 'better' bakeries, as those are what come up repeatedly in the research. That's why I wanted more input, to refine the list. TIA 😄
