This could be a rant or some advice nobody asked for. If I was really passionate about what I'm witnessing I could type an entire guide about filtering out the noise and dealing with seeds of doubt.
I haven't decided yet!
All I know in this moment is that the technology I have in my hand. Sends me a little Friday doom and gloom notifications, often about Nvidia - which I ignore ofcourse. I'm rational and I've held Nvidia in the red many times before. I see the blog posts for what they are and how the short sellers have a perfectly timed campaign to drive the price down that a little bit more than it would otherwise.
Not everyone gets that though and those seeds of doubt clearly work. I wonder how many people are busy on a Friday, their portfolio is the last thing on their mind, and suddenly one of the stocks they have a lot of money in is apparently...EXPERIENCING COMPETITION!
Holy fuck! Really?! Competition. I better BLOODY SELLL!!
Maybe I'm posting about seeds of doubt, but there's a part of me full of suspect over how Google just delivered me yet another notification on yet another Friday and once again the timing is perfect.
My father would say...."Someone should do a study", and as someone developing a trading tool right now. I say no, we don't need a study. We just need that free tool that profits and shuts out all the noise. Until then, we need to make an effort to rationalise and that is always worth discussing when we're experiencing doubt!
