Like a lot of people here I couldn't find a portfolio tracker that did everything I wanted without a monthly subscription or giving some app access to my broker accounts. So I built one myself in Excel.
It's completely free — no login, no app, no subscription. Just a spreadsheet you download and own.
What it tracks:
- Stocks, ETFs, crypto, gold, silver, real estate, bonds
- Live dashboard with total value, P&L and asset allocation
- Transaction log for every buy, sell and dividend
- Dividend calendar with monthly income view
- Multi-currency with FX conversion built in (good for us Europeans holding USD assets)
How it works: You enter your holdings, update prices weekly (takes about 2 minutes), and the dashboard does the rest. No macros, no complicated setup.
