I recently got new neighbors who I share a wall with. Not 100% sure when they moved in but I am assuming it was recent given the situation.

Over the past week or so I have heard these new neighbors having sex multiple times. I think it is important to preface that this is not quiet bumps or movement. This is a screaming, slapping, pet names type of intimacy (I now know their names and more because of these incidents). Trust me whatever you are thinking, it’s worse.

It’s also important to note that I am in a studio so I cannot leave the room to avoid it. It genuinely feels like I am a non consenting third party in these strangers relationship.

My thought is that if this continues for another week to leave a light hearted note under their door because honestly how can you have that conversation face to face just asking the to keep the screaming to a minimum.

Why wait a week? Since this just started happening I’m not 100% certain that this isn’t a short term thing or visiting partner. Hoping it is and the issue just resolves itself.

Why say anything? This is loud enough to wake me up and is occurring at all hours of the day. If it was someone just yelling that would be a noice complaint…right? Also I am starting a new work from home job in a few weeks, I cannot imagine explaining being in a virtual client meeting and all of a sudden having it sound like porn is playing next to me (I promise it really is that bad).

Anyway post rant, I guess I am what people think of this issue and how I should go across addressing it?? Thank you all in advance :)
