I work for a large tech company. I was converted to a remote worker about 6 months ago after my local office closed. My company offers a $1000 benefit to set up our home office. It’s intended for ergonomic equipment but other items are list there too, plus up to manager discretion. I already set up an office during COVID and haven’t used any $$$ from the benefit.

I changed roles in January and need to start traveling for customer facing meetings. I asked my manager if I could expense a laptop case or bag for travel and she said yes. Does a $400 cuyana laptop bag count? I’m new to her team and scared to ruffle feathers and ask….
