I see everyone shit talking ddr5 rams that are 5200mhz and say im better off paying more and getting 6000mhz. I dont think that makes any sense nowadays with ram prices being outrageous. I am pretty sure the prices are NOT going back to normal anytime soon as of 2026. Maybe never just like what happened with GPUs. Should I get a corsair vengeance 16gb ddr5 5200mhz cl40 kit for $200? its the cheapest I found.

So i snatched a ryzen 5 9600x for a decent price (for my region at least) and went on for a high end build, but there is no way I can afford to get a used 3080 for even remotely a good price here. nor can I afford to get an overpriced 5070 right now.

my main question is: Will the GTX play well on esports like val and fortnite at 2K? and which gpu should I aim for on the long run? a used 3080 founders edition? or a white gigabyte 5070?
