Need tips on F2L

Hey, I started cubing about 2 months ago and have been practicing beginner cfop.

The one thing I really struggle with is quickly finding pairs. I end up rotating my cube around trying to look for them. Any tips/tricks that helped you with this?

I attached a picture of my freezer with the shelves removed. Is the best way to get rid of the ice just to turn it off for a day?

Also, how can I prevent this in the future? Model is ‘Ikea from whirlpool’.

Thanks!

Hi all, I am fairly new to running (3 months) and predominately work out in the gym.

Runs: My goal is to improve my 5k time as much as I can - I do not enjoy very long runs, and don't want to train for marathons or anything similar. I currently go on ~1 run per week, but am looking to increase this to 2 runs per week.

Current pace: went from 30m 5k down to a 25m 5k. I do want to keep seeing improvements, hence why I'd like to hear how other 'hybrid' athletes combine it when slotting in more runs.

Gym: I've been working out for 4 years, I normally do PPL + one arms/shoulders day per week (4 total). Would like to keep growing, but not easy trying to improve both running and lifting at the same time. Want to at least maintain.

I was thinking of the following schedule:

Monday: easy run

Tuesday: Leg gym day

Wednesday: Arms & Shoulders

Thursday: rest

Friday: long / hard run

Saturday: Push gym day

Sunday: Pull gym day

Currently I simply go out once a week for a run and push myself, not much thought going into it. Is this easy + hard run a better approach? I realise I might also need to do some longer runs. Thanks.
