Just bought a Cube Nulane Comfort EXC for commuting. Want to put mudguards on it - looking for any suggestions from people with the same bike - which ones did you put on your bike?

I've bought the Acid mudguard 50 28" set that Cube itself links to as an accessory for the bike. However, that set apparently doesn't fit the bike, it's too big - yes, I've also emailed Cube asking about this interesting choice of shown "accessory".

The *correct* fender size should be 45 28" instead. Anyone attached a set on their Nulane Comfort? Because the manual that comes with the set is one of the worst manuals I've ever seen in my life, so any help is much appreaciated!

I'm currently considering getting a set of SKS Speedrockers and trying to sell the Acid fenders.

Just got my new Nulane Comfort EXC and I've bought the mudguards that is linked to on the Nulane site under "frame parts" - https://www.cube.eu/dk-en/cube-nulane-comfort-exc-grey-n-chrome/156250 - it being the 50 28" set.

Well, seems like I've bought the wrong set. Am I understanding the chart correctly, only 45 28" will fit on my bike? chart

This leads to my next question; the bike comes with Schwalbe 40-622, 28x1,5" tires. The 45-mudguard set seems to be limited to 1,4" tires? So if I install the only mudguard set that actually fits the bike, then I have to buy new tires?

Any help in this would be much appreciated. Bought the bike for commuting and mudguards are pretty important for this. (will probably also contact Cube to figure this out).

Also, the Cube installation manual is just absurdly confusing.

Edit: Just spent another hour trying to see if anything can be mounted. At the moment I'm leaning to going with a set of SKS Speedrockers instead. At least I can mount those without having to remove tires or drilling. Maybe I can sell the Acid set.
