This is only my 2nd year planting a garden with my kids. Last year we planted everything directly outside much later in the season. We didn’t do much research in advance and our garden didn’t produce much as a result.
This year we started our plants inside the second week of March. It has been so cold that I haven’t been able to move the plants outside yet. Now I’m afraid the plants will die in the house. How do I move them outside without losing the garden to the cold?
I read about “hardening off” but I’m unsure how to go about it successfully.
