Hey everyone!
So for the last 5 years I have been interested in starting with the 40k universe l, but it always seemed super daunting. Last year I started listening to lore videos and now that I'm finally stable (in more ways than one lol) I decided that this was the year I would take the plunge. I've decided that I'm going to use my tax return to get started with Warhammer.
After much deliberation I've settled on the Blood Angels as my main. I don't really know how to describe it but I felt drawn to them, and once I heard Sanguinius and Dante's story I was absolutely hooked.
My question for all of you fine people is, what do I buy? I'm very much looking forward to painting as well as playing the ttrpg. I'm assuming I need books and stuff? Also what kinda brushes and paint? What sets should I buy? Are there any individual pieces i need like a leader unit or something?
Hopefully posts like these aren't banned because they've been posted 10000 times, and if they are, is there a thread I can read that has all the information I'm looking for?
I also just enjoy meeting people and making connections in the space.
