My monstera is about 3 years old and has been relatively healthy up until this year. It started growing backwards at a 90 degree angle and the lower leaves have been slowly dying off. The upper half of the plant seems healthy and it continues to sprout new leaves.
It sits next to a south facing window and gets a ton of light. I water it around once a week and it has a light, airy soil mix.
It's had a minor mealy bug issue for a while. I clean it often, but have never been able to totally eradicate the bugs.
The roots looked healthy last time it was repotted and the pot has drainage, so I dont suspect root rot.
The thing is ugly as shit, anyone got any advice?
