Have this massive tree; from my research seems to be Nellie Stevens holly. Recently moved in to the home; I feel like it’s just too big for my yard. I’ve seen suggestions of possibly raising the bottom - is that something that can feasibly be done with these trees? I think that’s the issue, that it’s too full at the bottom and if opened up and pruned around it would look much better. Context : Long Island - think tree is easily 30 feet.
