Don't be rude, it's my first game designing ships.

So i went for full shields because i'm getting more than 100% shield hardening.

On my last post about ships designed people sayed i was using too many short ranged weapons on my small/medium slots, so i mixed in less powerfull small and medium weapons for more range (removed nanite autocannons and small slot matter desintegrators). As i understand now it's probably because artillery computers are a bit messy with those 30 range weapons on longer engagements, they end up too close for the big weapons to shoot. So i did put less powerfull more range ones.

Tried to make them balanced but focused on the power of psionics. My Fleets are mixing those 2 kinds of ships 50/50. So i'm asking for your polite suggestions on how i can improve the concept of those two designs, if there's something more obvious to the trained eye i'm missing.

25X All Crisis. 3 Beaten. Just Waiting for Cetana 200X!

PS: i'm using trade exploit i discovered recently. Those numbers shouldn't be reasonable playing fairly. Also, numbers fall to 2/3 of this outside of frienly territory and psionic aura bonuses. But they are really big.

Edit: As more than one person asked for the exploit, i'll link it here.

Financial Capitalism exploit step by step and how to nerf it. : r/Stellaris

So basically after a lot of setup the exploit was fully online and step by step solved my economy by itself (around the 2300s was online, after this it boomed slowly). The rest was using a build with galvanic synthesis, sovereign civic (more for the councilor bonuses than anything else), and psionic + cosmogenesis to get the best ships. Also distinguished admiralty on 3rd civic for fleet capacity and admiral levels up. Martial alliance would be perfect to get leaders at level 8, but i missed it and now i get admirals (more than 60 of them) at level 7. Knights were chosen for good science and naval cap (but i really played badly to maximize this science, so i'm not soooo far away on repeatables). Almost forgot, using 4 destiny traits commanders on my council to get more ship bonuses (and also to get the influence wich played a huge role in the game).

First time 25X all Crisis - the Contingency (3rd) was brutal! I'm really afraid of Cetana!

Maybe some of those ships destroyed were other empire's ships, but most of them were mine. Those almos 4k ships were not corvettes, those were Riddle Escorts, Enigma Battlecruisers and Paradox titans with all the most expensive components missing all over the place. I just couldn't keep up with retrofit time and i have dozen of shipyards working at +125% capacity. Brutal, just brutal! And now there's still this really brutal source system i have to destroy with just incredible bases! 25X all crisis, even with exploits, is just too brutal.

Thanks i have a control group of only armour units for those situations, just waiting for some reinforcements. But i don't know if i could get enought power to bypass this.

Edit: solved it, they are gone. It was a mess and pretty laggy.

I do have lots of fleets, and i recruit commanders at level 7, but since i have 50 commanders and only 10 commander limit my leaders will never go up. I think i possibly misplayed by trying to have a commander for ench fleet. What would be the ideal? Is a commander for each fleet really a mistake? What would be a reasonable number of commanders for a 10 limit considering i recruit them at level 7?

Edit: In reality unity is ok, what i don't know if is ok is the XP penalty, wich is exponential and now is effectively making so i gain zero XP for my commanders.

On the first image my battleships, on the second my escorts, on the third how many fleets i have, on the fourth how many generic bonuses my fleets have.

Never messed out with ship designs because never before i needed it.

I expanded the federation and vassals to get home territory bonus from almost all the galaxy.

Never fought a 25X crisis before, even more a 25X all crisis. Just entered the endgame and i'm anxious to find out. But since i discovered a market/trade exploit that could be powerfull enought i tought it would be nice to try to fight the hardest of the hardest.

Edit: Ok guys, thanks for the advices. Made some ajustments and lets see how it goes!
