It’s set up for curtain pleating but I’d want to use it with denim and cordura. Are parts available? Is it worth what it would cost to fix? The machine looks super clean but I don’t know much beyond that. I do know it need one upper thread tensioner post.
It’s the only time you’ll be able to get that fabric. You can use them to patch your pants once they start getting holes. I’m super short so I was able to make a baseball hat with the extra material.
I just purchased a double needle machine (a Mitsubishi 2220 but for some reason it’s branded as an Artisan.) and I’m wondering about the needles. The needles unlike the home singer machine needles, are perfectly round where they attach to the machine. Is this a universal type of industrial needle? Also, the twin needle machine has two independent needles. Are these regular needles that could also be used in a single needle machine or do I need to get specific needles for this machine?
