Not the right time frame but I always imagined how cool it would be if there was a late medieval star fort especially by a lake/sea.

I think I will stop playing this game for now after 30 hours in.
As someone that has been playing strategy games since 2004 from AOEII, multiple Total War series, Anno 1440, City Skyline 1, Stellaris, Eu4 and many more. This game has be thoroughly fun. But I will patiently wait for a year or two of updates before I revisit this game.

Some critiques besides the obvious such as finishing all the contents and AI opponents being incompetent:

Inter-Region trading is very imprecise and clunky which I have seen many other echoed.

Farming AI needs to be smarter and more efficient. I have peasants running from one field to harvest a bit, and then run across half the region to another field to harvest instead of finishing one field at a time. (I had a map with a giant forest in the middle and very infertile soils so I had to split my fields a lot)

Celebrations and events. The game is beautiful but the scenery does get repetitive. Catholic religion is a big thing during Medieval Germany, with such attention to detail to game, I believe it would be a nice touch compare to other games in the market.

River trading for some maps. Small trading cogs and fishing boats. Makes the game feel more alive.

Flowers in the fields can add more colour and variance.

Rich iron and fertile soil are very strong resources compare to others as they have many products that can be exported without crashing the market. Maybe stone can build stone roads that people/trade carts are a lot faster or import/trade routes are cheaper.

Clay can make pots/ceramics as export (doesn't need to be a consumed object but export)

Games could make luxury clothing and boots, or even luxury armour.

Lastly, military, a lot of things can be said but I want to comment on something small.

I am not sure why tier 2 peasants could only wear gambeson and tier 3 wear chai nmail when back then, they can wear both on top of each other. I feel like it is unnecessary to lock one to different tiers and feel clunky. For example, I had a rich iron start but infertile region so it was very easy for me to make chain mail but very expensive to import flax to create gambeson.

I also can't wait for cavalry and knights but please also consider adding Pavise crossbowmen. I think the latter is very easy to add with what you have.
