Certified Groovers did it again.
Went to Certified Groovers on Friday for waFF and the whole night was seriously impressive. The consistency this party has built is kind of rare now. You can tell there’s real care behind the music, the flow of the night, and the crowd they’ve cultivated over time.
Inside had a different energy than usual, a bit more aggressive and driving with the headliner, but honestly it worked. It gave the night tension and movement without losing the groove. What I really liked was being able to step outside and immediately get a completely different feeling. The outdoor area was deeper and warmer, which balanced the night perfectly. It felt like two moods coexisting instead of one room trying to do everything.
And honestly, this guy Gilberto keeps killing it. He closed the inside room and then still went outside for a B2B just for the fun of it. They went till 10am I think.
Most impressive part for me though is still the crowd. Compared to a lot of afters I used to go to, the people here actually seem mature and genuinely there for the music. Less chaos, less people trying to be seen. Just dancers, good energy, and people respecting the space around them. That’s becoming harder and harder to find.
Every time I go, it feels more established without losing the underground spirit.
