34th set of studies

The first is a pose study, the second is a shading study, and the third is a feet study.

I had some troubles with the face. His eyes especially are massive.

I did another shading study. This time, I used a face with some planes to help me out. I'll probably do some more of the head shading studies, but that helped me understand these heads the most.

The same quick gesture study I do for hands, I did for the feet. Let me know what you think.

Is Magic poser any good?

I’ve been looking at different options for creating my own poses for drawing. I’ve tried thumbnailing and using a manikin (stickybone), they have their pros and cons. But one thing I haven’t tried yet is using 3d models. The one I see the most is magic poser, and I’ve thought about trying to get it on my laptop. But I wanted to ask people who’ve used it, how do you like it or is it worth trying out and learning? Also are there any alternatives I should look into?

The first is a pose study and the second is a thumbnail study

I did this low angel pose, but had a lot of trouble with the head. Let me know what you think.

The first is a shading study, the second is a pose study, and the third is an armor study

I'm still having troubles with direction and what tools to use.

I found a stylized pose from pintrest that had this foreshortening. I decided to try it out, but I had too much troubles with the feet.

I picked this because the pose was challenging and the complexity of the armor. It took a bit to draw and theres still some issues with how his armor over laps. The gun is also not that great. I'll need to do some more shape studies so this kind of armor and weapons get easier to draw. (bonus points if you know where this guy is from). Let me know what you think.

The first is a pose study, the second is a hand study, and the third is just a thumbnail study.

I ended up increasing my pen presure sensitivity, so that the lines would appear darker. This came out fairly well, but I'm thinking of doing another longer project soon.

I was mostly focustion on the gesture of the hands here, rather than the details. Each took 5-7ish minutes.

Did a quick thumbnail study. Let me know what you think.
