Cussing Yoga Teacher
After shopping around for yoga studios in Indianapolis, I finally found one that seems to be seated in actual yoga philosophy great teachers in great lessons. Recently, I took a heated level two Vinyasa class with the teacher I’m unfamiliar with her class was full and it seems like people like her but man did she cuss like a pirate. It was very startling to me with her saying things like “ damn there’s no way this bitch is making me do this fucking thing again”. Referring to herself. And then the class was just like that, dropping the F bomb and shit and all that and then at the end of class, she starts joking about balls and how she changes the name of songs in her head so the lyrics are balls… truly strange to me. I don’t know if her classes are always like this or if it was just a one off thing, but it made me pretty uncomfortable. The reason I went to the class was because I like hot yoga and it fit in my schedule and I could just take what I can get. Do you guys think the yoga studio should know about this or am I a prude?
