PIP video tribunal
Finally got my PIP tribunal date - 15th June 2026 (video hearing).
Applied in July 2024. Initial decision: 0 points.
MR: 2 points (for hearing aids -ignored all my other aids)
I proved the assessor had included things that simply weren’t true, submitted a huge amount of extra evidence, and pushed on to tribunal.
I won’t lie, I’ve come close to giving up so many times over the past 2 years. The first time I actually did give up before my assessment was completwd because I just couldn’t cope with the stress of it all s8 this was attempt number 2)
Since applying, my conditions have only worsened. OT has now completed a full home assessment and confirmed my house isn’t safe for me. I’m now being provided with a power chair to help me access the community, alongside other equipment/adaptations, and my conditions are degenerative so things will continue to decline.
I’m trying not to get my hopes up, but after everything, I’m hoping the tribunal will actually listen to the evidence. C.A.B have said I have a very strong case too.
If you’re in the middle of this awful process and feel like giving up - please don’t. Keep going.
