Hi,

I have a new to me 996.2 C2 and the car had meticulous service history and has shown no symptoms of bore scoring i.e. oil consumption, ticking or any smoking on startup.

However I have just gone on a 400 mile round trip and my left tip is ever so slightly sooty compared to the right.

Should I be concerned?
