I’ve never been too into cars but, want to get into them a lot more and would like some help.

Is the jack adapter insert necessary?
Where specifically do I jack the car up?
Do the stands need to be specific?

The car is still accelerating but incredibly slower then what it was, and now has a click sort of feel at the end of the pedal then before.
