I'm looking to get the 18 Area 51 laptop with the new 290hx plus CPU but I wanted to check how much faster it will be than the 275hx first. I'll be using it for 3d rendering with VRay but there aren't any benchmarks for that CPU. Any chance anybody could run the VRay 6 benchmark and let me know the score? It's a simple download and runs very quickly. I tested it on a 18 275hx with balanced mode and the score was 36,470. Doesn't necessarily have to be just the 18, I would be interested to see the scores on the 16 Area 51 and the 16X Aurora as well. Thanks!
