What would be the best mini motor for a small liquid/wet suction device
I’m working on a small handheld prototype that needs to suck up small amounts of water/soapy water through a short tube and move it into a small removable reservoir.
Its not alot of liquid just small surface amounts but Id like to build it to be compact and preferably USB-rechargeable.
I’m confused about which type of (mini, the smaller the better) pump/motor is best for this:
- mini diaphragm vacuum pump
- peristaltic pump
- small wet-vac/blower motor
- self-priming water pump
My priorities are:
- can pull liquid through tubing without being submerged
- low clog risk
- not insanely loud
- compact enough for a handheld prototype
- beginner-friendly wiring, ideally 5V USB or USB-C rechargeable
Also, if anyone has advice on how to safely connect this to a small removable tank/reservoir without leaking, I’d appreciate it.
I’m a beginner, so simple part names/search terms would help a lot.
