Can anyone ID her?
I've had this girl growing at the entrance to my drive for 20 + years now. I didn't care much about the names of the roses when I planted her, it was more like "this one is pretty, and this one is pretty, oh, they're all pretty! Let's plant them here there and everywhere!" Lol. So now I have a lot of older roses that I don't remember what were called. This girl is blooming now, and I thought maybe with the help of you lovely folks I might be able to give her back her name. I have the vaguest recollection of "candy" being in the name, but I could be totally misremembering. She has very thick canes and is quite thorny. She wants to grow very large if I didn't keep her trimmed, but she doesn't throw climbing canes. Does anyone recognize her?
