I was looking through my old Titanium collection and found this interesting looking fighter. I believe it’s a Z-95 Headhunter, but it’s quite different from the Clone Wars era Z-95 that we got. I was wondering if any of you guys would like to see this added to the line.
My new Target Exclusive Razor Crest (Adelphi) arrived today and honestly, made me fall in love with the ship all over again. I pulled my old S1 Razor Crest out to compare the two.
First of all, the newer one is a lot easier to get out of its plastic prison. I remember the old one being a nightmare to get out, afraid I would break it pulling it out. The mold is exactly the same but the new one is molded in a much lighter colored plastic and has more yellow markings around the cockpit and the wings. Honestly, I kinda wish they gave it a shiny chrome finish like we see in the trailer. Since it’s the same mold, everything from the older release will fit on the new one and vice versa. The cannons on the older release definitely feel much sturdier than the newer release. Be careful when putting the blast effects on the newer release because they are a bit softer. The weapons rack is a cool thing that will fit where the carbon frozen person was stored on the older release. The Mando is just another Mando but has Grogu molded onto his cape. Zeb looks great in his blue pilot suit and the little details are well done, however, he is hard to get into the passenger seats because of that raised section and his thicker legs, so he only fits properly in the main pilot seat unfortunately. Also, like all releases, this one should’ve came with a stand to display it in flight (Come on Jazwares!!!). The new paint job, effect parts and Zeb in a pilot suit make this release unique enough to make it worth the purchase, and I hope they make more releases with thruster and blaster effect parts.
Overall, a good use of an old mold and I really like it. It was also a good value since I preordered it when it was down to $23 that one day (good looking out for the poster that gave us the heads up on here). If you don’t have one of the older Razor Crests, I would definitely recommend picking this one up, but even if you do have the older ones, I think the Target exclusive is worth getting for the additions added.
Haha, it’s so chubby. I don’t mind getting a plain clone trooper and speeder either.
