2007 Ford Escape

My sister is getting rid of this car because the rear shock is busted, but she said I could have it if I'm willing to fix it up.

The shock isn't connected to anything at the top, and I was able to move it with my hand while the vehicle was on the ground. Also the obvious bit on the left of this picture 😅

Worth it for a temporary beater, or is it too risky?
