Big change a month apart

25m, 5ft 6in, usually somewhere between 130-140lbs. Had to shared this because it was super exciting to see. Since I started checking my cholesterol almost 2 years ago it’s been slowly creeping up:
total cholesterol
2024: 218
2025: 238
2026: 288
Ive always been active/athletic but in 2025 really let my eating and exercise habits go. Lots of fast food and only exercised 1 or 2 time every few weeks.
That last one naturally scared me into making serious diet and lifestyle changes.
And was able to reverse it in a month by eating under 10g saturated fat a day and at least 30g of fiber a day, upping my exercise, cutting out fast food, etc
I could have never imagined such a drastic drop so quickly and I’m just curious now if you guys on Reddit may have any insight on what this tells me about how my body handles cholesterol and what this could mean for me in the future. Appreciate all comments/advice, tracking cholesterol is still new to me🙏🏽
