I just finished this little cutie! My kids are obsessed with their chickens so I carved a little sebright rooster cup for them. Was just playing around so decided to experiment with glazes. The whole cup had black underglaze (was considering more sgraffito) then I chose a couple glazes that seem less popular to play around with. I can’t find many inspo pics of them so decided to wing it! 1 coat of clear on the whole cup, an extra layer over the chicken. 3x spectrum bright purple with globs of lapis flow at the rim. It’s so interesting how the inside and outside reacted so differently. Inside the cup, the glazes look true to themselves. Outside, they clearly interacted more. So cool!
