Starting July last year I commited to my first ever real attempt at a Diet/Body recomp weighing and tracking every single gram. Got the leanest ive ever been, made PRs in the gym. Looked the best ive ever looked. Decided to work myself back to maintenance calories starting in February after hitting weight and BG% plateau and its substantially harder than the actual diet.
I've tried adding calories back in but I feel so fat, bloated looking when I look in the mirror. It's effects my gym performance just because I don't feel as motivated knowing I look "worse". I've tried adding back in some date nights out to eat with my SO too and every single time we go out I feel UNGODLY guilty about eating such glutinous meals...
Anyone else have experience successfully getting over the mental and physical hurtles of reverse dieting or am I just a wimp?
