I'm pretty new to gardening in general but have become fond and weirdly protective of my hostas that were planted last season. They've come back great so far (Coastal Georgia Area) and have already grown a good bit this year. My goal is to get these six to "fill" the middle section of my bed so ultimately I want them to get as big as possible while keeping them healthy. That being the case, do I trim shoots like this as they rise?? I've been given conflicting opinions from neighbors and welcome any advice from you fine experts! TIA
