Tell me a funny/tragic tale from the Rim.

I name every animal I have tamed and I noticed my pig population was getting a little out of hand. So I decided to round up all my pigs (draft anything mod), get a handler, and count them like a shepherd would in game for the RP of it.

A meteor came down on my base and killed ALL of my pigs as soon as I had them bunched up.

I started a colony of vampires, but I edited them to have deadly UV sensitivity. I was planning to make them a cave society.

I started in a temperate forest with perpetual summer and died before I could walk them to the mountain I wanted to dig into.

For a while I’ve been using the nugget method, but when I need some new vampire food prisoners and I don’t have the time or inclination to do multiple surgeries I found that ripping out their spine does the trick.

They don’t ever leave the bed so no risk of prison riots and if it fails there’s still a chance it just breaks their spine so job done.

It does require the harvest everything mod but it’s worth it.

  1. If you recruit the pawn, exhale them, then imprison them you don’t get faction hits from torturing them.

  2. I used to fire my elderly into the arctic or send them off to die in caravans, but now I repurpose them in their later years for blood, what good organs they have, and genes. It’s a great use for them.
