What part is this?
New homeowner here and I’ve run into my first garage door issue. My opener is running and the chain is moving, but the door stays shut. I found a small black plastic piece hanging off the chain. It looks like some sort of catch that should be grabbing the door to pull it up, but it’s no longer connecting. Is this a simple part replacement, or am I looking at replacing the whole unit? Any advice is appreciated!
