Are tankies/campist that live in the west just heavily depressed/want to believe in humanity? Because I can understand it. Capitalism fucks us all and market economy is not equal to everybody. Especially if they society has failed them.

Maybe they just want to believe that there is actually perfect society somewhere and all that they have been told about former “communist” or current communist countries is a lie orchestrated by the west/CIA/MOSSAD.

The truth is of course that there hasn’t been any successful “communist“ country, because they alway turn out to be authoritarian/corrupt and eventually repressing the people they promised to help.

I get the idea. Wanting to believe in better world. World ain’t black and white tho.
