Level 18 office, two clerks, me (PTF) and the other is FTR whose bid assignment includes a 2 hour lunch. Window does not close for lunch. On 5/1/26 postmaster was completing 3999 for a city route and was out of the office all day. I was not scheduled, he had the FTR clock to lunch for about 10 minutes and then she worked the rest of the day getting nearly 2 hours of overtime. For the whole week, I only worked 28 hours, which includes 4 hours I worked at a neighboring office.
My union is aware, however they told me I do not have a grievance. I asked for clarification as to why and have received no response. Can anyone here please explain to me how this is not a grievance? Or tell me if I should go over my union rep and call the local president?
