German, over 60 years old
Posting with permission from seller; info from seller on a violin I’m considering buying. Haven’t seen the violin in person yet. Here is all the info he gave:
German violin, been in his family for 60 years, so at least that old.
Mostly German writing. What he can make out is Anton oklian or Okias… also might be a date of 8 15 23. I’m wondering if it could be Anton Klier?
