Anybody else in here switch to the newer Hk mag catch? Just installed it and it fits great. The mags lock up tight but one of my mke mags locks up tight enough that it has absolutely zero play and when cycling the bolt it feels like the mag is binding it just before going into battery and when in battery it is sometimes hard to pull the charging handle back. I just bought some mora mags to try out, so if they’re gucci, I may just run only mora and hk mags from now on. My other mke mag was having double feed issues so I was hoping that the new catch would help alleviate that it. It doesn’t bind and has minimal play.

Hey guys, recently picked up an Ap5 navy and ran it through the break in period. I just installed my Lee sporting lower and ensured everything was put together correctly. Everything function checks flawlessly when cycling the bolt by hand. I took it to the range and it shoots fine in semi but will only shoot once and I’ll get a dead trigger with a round in the chamber in SS. After the first malfunction, I took off my brace and found that the lever is somehow getting under the slip trip which is causing it to not reset. I just bought the GMR stop block to see if it will help the issue. I also shimmed the super safety so there is less play between the cam and the lever. I will be trying again tomorrow. Is there anything else I should look out for or try?
