Maximum Bob (1998) was a short-lived, critically appreciated surreal crime-comedy series on ABC based on Elmore Leonard’s 1991 novel. Starring Beau Bridges as a eccentric, corrupt Florida judge, the series was produced by Barry Sonnenfeld and ran for only seven episodes before cancellation. It is often remembered as a cult classic.
