Hi everyone, I’m curious if anyone here has ever looked into dental issues as a possible factor in unexplained infertility?

For example, things like a dead tooth, old root canal, chronic dental infection/inflammation, gum issues, or anything similar.

I know infertility can have many causes and I’m not saying this is definitely connected, but I’ve been wondering whether long-term inflammation or hidden infection from dental problems could affect fertility or implantation.

Has anyone here had unexplained infertility and later found dental issues that they felt may have contributed? Did treating the dental problem make any difference to your IVF/FET outcomes?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thank you ❤️

Hi everyone,

I’m 38 this year and have been TTC for 12 years. I have unexplained infertility and have been told I likely have RIF/recurrent implantation failure.

I just had my 6th embryo transfer (2 embryos, D6 & D5) but unfortunately it still failed to implant. For this cycle, my protocol included:

- Hydroxychloroquine

- 2 weeks of antibiotics

- Prednisone

- Clarityn/Claritin

- Baby aspirin

- Clexane/Lovenox injections

- 6 HBOT sessions before transfer

- Blastgen

- Embryo Glue

Despite adding all of these, implantation still failed.

I’m now wondering whether I should ask my doctor about Lupron suppression before my next transfer, treating it as possible silent endometriosis, even though I don’t have a confirmed diagnosis.

Has anyone here had repeated implantation failure or unexplained infertility, then later tried Lupron suppression for suspected silent endo? Did it help?

Feeling quite lost after another failed cycle, so I’d be grateful for any experiences or advice you’re willing to share.

Thank you ❤️
