I got an upsetting email this morning via GogoNihongo saying the school I applied to can’t accept my application for a long term course due to “lack of support“ and that reason is rather vague because it sounds like it was multiple reasons why they wouldn’t accept it, but I was originally waiting for them to have an interview with me but it was maybe 2 months that had passed and still nothing. I was told they were too busy and had so many applicants to tend to and that they were just waiting for them to schedule an interview with me, and sadly, it never happened. They just decided they’re not gonna brother with it after all and I’m really upset about this. They told me that I could either apply for a NEW school ( assuming there’s still spots left anywhere else) or I could still attend this school I was trying to get into on a tourist visa for a short term course but I don’t think thats a very viable option if I can’t even stay past 90 days. Just doesn’t sound worth the hassle if I have to be out of the country by the time the deadline hits. (I’m American btw)
I have a feeling they wouldn’t go through with my application cause I put on my application that i have autism and ADHD even though I made it VERY CLEAR on my application that I am fully stable and my mental health issues should not prevent me from attending school especially since I have a Bachelor’s degree so I went to college without any issues and I been employed for the last 11 years (I filled out my entire history already on there proving that) but I feel like they pushed me away due to liability reasons. I’m afraid if I apply to a different school it may just be the same story again and I’ll get rejected again. Could it just be this school was already overfilled and they couldn’t take the time to get me accepted? It seemed very vague on the reasons.
So now what do I do? Am I just screwed at this point? Did anyone else get a similar thing happen to them? I’ve googled this and I can‘t find any answers or posts with a similar experience.
