Whats your take on thomas and edwards dynamic?

A lot of people take edward as a mentor though i disagree a bit (unless we’re talking about the adventure begins), I think topham the first was a better mentor.

In my personal opinion I think Edward is more of an advocate for thomas. Seeing a bit of himself in him, at the beginning of the rws edward knows hes useful but never has a chance to prove his use until he was given that opportunity from his crew. Kind of like how Thomas wants to be more than a shunter, but doesnt have the opportunity to prove that he can be more than that. So edward gives him that opportunity by letting him take his goods train.

Whats your take though?

NWR #3 “Enterprising Engine”

In my AU, his backstory is the same. As for his flying kipper crash, it took place in 1936 of December. He was sent to crewe to be rebuilt by stanier. He was turned to a 3 cylinder locomotive with a big 47 grate firebox, a higher pressure tapered boiler at 220 PSI, a double chimney and an experimental self weighing tender. His top speed recorded was 90, with a maximum tractive effort of 40,000. Little of the original henry remains as almost all of his parts were replaced similar to Edward.

Anyway, after his rebuild he handled the Barrow tidmouth semi fast and passed down his local train to James. When he isnt hauling passengers, he handles goods trains.

I designed henry to have coronation features, but he still has some from an lms black 5. I dont want him to look like an exact class rather a mix of things.
