Hi. Is this noise and pulsation caused by the heater control valve? I notice it especially on hybrid mode. Noise/movement comes when fan is on and temperature is set to low but goes away when on high. Also when I turn off the car the noise persists until it seems to time out.

In the video you can also see the heater control valve. I don’t think its the auxiliary water pump because the pulsation/noise goes away when heat setting is on max/high. Video is taken near the coolant reservoir where the heater control valve is located.

No error codes.

Hi. I’ve noticed this noise in the cabin, so I checked under the hood because it seemed to come there. Now I’ve found out the culprit: There is this hose throbbing, it feels like coolant rushes through it then stops, causing the clicking sound, then it repeats and repeats. On high temp this doesn’t come, but low temp it does. Also comes when I turn off the air blowing. Doesn’t seem to have anything to do with AC. What could be the reason? Its one of the three hoses going towards the cabin area (as shown in the video) Is it the heater valve or auxiliary water pump for example?

Hi. I saw some permanent error codes on my bmw x5 40e, regarding the brakes. No lights are on the dash. Do you know what could be the reason?

Also: My rear axle was leaking and a wire next to it seems a little damaged.

Cars battery was old/weak and just got it replaced a month ago.

I’ve been getting this thermostat code every now and then, but temperature seems to be pretty much normal, except for idle it felt a little high. What could be causing the code, since temps rise normally? Temperature also doesnt go above what I attached, but also on idle it gets to that temp and I was wondering if its normal.

Hey. I took my car to the shop for timing chain replacement and oil pump replacement. Ever since I’ve noticed rough idle for first minute of turning car on and also this rattling noise. In the beginning of the video you can hear it, in the end (after 1 minute) its gone. During the 1 minute if I press gas, the sound goes away but comes back after RPM is at isle.

Hi. I was wondering is the noise wastegate rattle? Goes away after 1 minute of idle. During the 1 minute idle, it goes away when I press gass and comes back after RPM drops.
